Triloknath Temple, Lahaul

Triloknath temple is situated in Udaipur sub division of District  Lahaul and Spiti of Himachal Pradesh. Its six-armed deity  revered as both Shiva and Avlokiteshwara by Hindus and  Buddhists. respectively, is said to have been installed by  Padmasambhava. Triloknath Temple is noted for its delicate  carvings, gracing the inner walls and doors. The temple courtyard  houses a tiny stone Nandi (the divine bull) and a granite shivling  (symbolic representation of Lord Shiva).
